Criteria for passing:

The minimum for pass in U.G. & P.G. Degree courses is as follows:-

There is no passing minimum mark for CIA.

A candidate is eligible for the award of degree only if he/she passes the examinations in Part IV:

  • Human Excellence and Part IV :
  • Foundation courses A and B and also participates in anyone of the programmes under Part V Co-curricular activities viz., NSS/NCC/Sports and Games/SSL/Youth Red Cross/ Citizen Consumer Club and secures the minimum grade of E.

If a student fails to fulfill the attendance requirement in Co- curricular activities and is not within the condonation limit, he/she should re-register in the V Semester and continue as a member of the same forum till he / she compensates the shortage of attendance by attending the programme as per the scheduled regular activity.

A pass in Extra Credit Subject / Paper is not counted for the award of the degree.
