Modalities of Conducting End of Semester Examinations During COVID –19 Pandemic Condition
End of semester theory examinations for UG (2018, 2019 batch), M.C.A (2017, 2018 batch), PG (2019 batch) and Arrear Examinations are to be held from 23.12.2020 onwards through online mode and the Time Table of the End of Semester Examination displayed in the College Website (www.gascgobi.ac.in). Online examinations will be of descriptive type with the existing approved pattern of question papers. The duration of examination is 3 hours between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. in the Fore Noon Session and between 1.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. in the After Noon Session. Candidates who have arrears in the semester papers will be permitted to write the examinations provided they have already registered and paid the examination fee. Candidates can receive the Question Paper over the WhatsApp group which is created already by Class Coordinator 10 minutes before the commencement of examination, i.e., at 9.20 a.m in the Fore Noon Session and 1.20 p.m. in the After Noon Session. Question papers along with the answer paper code (G or H or I or J or K) to be used for that particular examination can be downloaded in the above mentioned time. Candidates should complete the examination by 12.30 p.m. in the FN and 4.30 p.m in the AN and scan all pages of the answer scripts and upload the same in the mail ID provided to you as a single PDF from your own mail ID (Answer Script considered as INVALID if sent from some others mail ID) before 1.00 p.m in the FN and 5.00 p.m in the AN. All the candidates are instructed to hand over the hard copies of the Original Answer Scripts in a Single bunch (KAM Hall in the Campus) the next day after completing all the exams between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. in person. Total number of papers and subject codes should be mentioned on the cover holding the answer scripts. Answer scripts will be valued if it matches the scanned PDF that is uploaded in the mail. In case of any hardship faced by the candidates in downloading the question papers and in uploading the scanned copies of the answer sheets, Students are requested to contact the respective class coordinators.
