 Integrated Examination Platform:

  • The college has an integrated examination platform which is done by the Controller of Examinations Office. In the pre-examination process, the office prepares a schedule whereby the students are intimated well-in-advance about the payment of the examination fees and the time-table is prepared accordingly where students of different years write the examinations, giving time-space for those who have arrears.

  • The students list is generated and based on the students’ strength the number of invigilators required is prepared and staff of the college and other colleges, who give their willingness, act as invigilators.

  • The Principal who acts the Chief Superintendent, along with the team of an examination committee looks into the smooth conduct of the examination.

  • Attendance sheets are prepared for each Hall to make entry of the candidates who write the examination.

  • The Controller of Examinations Office supplies the answer books with a code number for each session along with the question papers.

  • The invigilators distribute the answer books and the necessary question papers to the students.

  • Attendance is noted along with the verification of the Hall tickets. No student is allowed into the hall after thirty minutes of the commencement of the examinations.

  • Once the student completes the examination, answer scripts are collected by the invigilator and handed over to the Chief Superintendent.

Evaluation System for Part – IV-Foundation

Subjects/Papers

Examination for General Awareness Subject will be held at the end of the II semester; for Remedial English at the end of I and II semesters.

The duration of these examinations is as follows:-

Foundation Subject A- General Awareness – 1½ Hrs. (Online Examination)
Remedial English – 3 Hrs Foundation Subject B-3 Hrs.
Foundation Subject B-Quantitative Aptitude (Online Examination)

The passing minimum for the Examinations in Foundation Subjects A and B shall be 40%. A candidate is eligible for the award of the degree, only if he/she passes the examinations in Foundation courses A & B and Human Excellence. Marks scored in the examinations for foundation courses and Human Excellence shall not be taken into account for classification and ranking purpose.

Evaluation System for Part – V – Co-curricular activities and Extra Credit Subjects

The performance of the students in the respective Co-curricular activity / Extra Credit Subject shall be assessed and graded in a five point scale, based on the report of the Staff –in charge concerned.
