We value SkillsUSA competitors so much that we are giving away scholarships to the top high school gold, silver, and bronze medalists in Texas. Earn a medal, and you have earned a scholarship every semester at TSTC for up to six (6) semesters.
How do I get into TSTC?
Admissions Checklist
- Submit college admissions application online.
- Apply for financial aid.
- Submit high school and/or college transcripts to Enrollment Center.
- Submit a record of bacterial meningitis vaccination to the Enrollment Center (if you are under age 22).
- Communicate with an enrollment coach for advisement.
How do I pay my TSTC bill?
Once you have logged into the TSTC portal, scroll down to the bottom of the page. On the right hand side of the screen click on the WEBADVISOR FOR STUDENTS drop down tab. Then go to the Financial Information drop down tab. Next go to the Online Payments, and it will redirect you to the payment site.
Is financial aid available for TSTC?
Eligibility. To receive financial aid, you must: Be accepted for admission to TSTC and be enrolled for a minimum of six credit hours in a program of at least six months long. There is one exception: the Federal Pell Grant program provides funding for eligible students enrolled in less than six credit hours.
Does TSTC accept felons?
An Admissions Advisor will collect the Application for Admission Form, notify the Vice President of Student Development or designee of any application which states that they are currently on parole/probation for a felony conviction or have charges pending for having committed a crime.
Is TSTC a good school?
This is a great college that offers many career choices. I truly have enjoyed my college life and gained many strengths. Overall, there is a lot to like about Texas State Technical College. Most of the classes I have taken are easy and there are tutors that help with struggling students.
